Method Statement

SURFACE PREPARATION

  • Clean the surface thoroughly to get rid of all contaminants. Remove all surface imperfections and repair with polymer modified mortar using Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP.

PRIMING

  • Apply Dr. Fixit Roofseal, diluted with water in 1:1 proportion as the primer.
  • Allow the primer to dry before applying Dr. Fixit Roofseal. Extend the primer over the angle fillets, up to the drip mould on the parapet wall.

APPLICATION

  • Apply the first coat of Dr. Fixit Roofseal.
  • Immediately, apply the second coat of Dr. Fixit Roofseal.
  • After 48 - 72 hours, place a loosely laid geotextile fabric of at least 100 gsm with 30 cm overlaps.
  • Over the geotextile fabric, lay 50 mm thick levelled screed of M 20 grade in required slope.
